do a search on "ebay projector" on here youll see that those are absolute CRAP. its not a real projector and throws light all over the road, instead of focusing it. any HID kit (with housing) you find for under $100 is gonna be worse light output than a set of off the shelf replacement lights from the local out parts store. real HID projectors alone cost atleast $100. so far Ive found 2 companies that make a 4x6 housing with a REAL projector in them. one is over $1000 for the complete kit, the other is fairly new and the housings themselves are about $170. have yet to see any reviews on those.

Re: anybody try these hid's?
i know the 4th gen guys are using the ones for the trucks from LMC.. Im sure they are better than ebay, and go with a 4-5k bulb for whitest light, any higher will be ricy! I had some 6k's in my 01 SS and they were a bit blue, even in the factory housings and were bright as hell.
Only other option is to find the clear lens ones for a newer style bulb, find some true projectors, like from an acura suv or something and fab them up. Its talked about on ls1tech and other places. DDM tuning make quality kits affordable, but no plug in for 3rd gens.. only 4th's! prejudice bastards!
