Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

I have those seats in my Summit Racing "wish" list but in black. I will probably go with the 4th gen. seats.
I'm also interested in any reply .

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

Ive had two sets of Pro Car seats but not the ones your looking at. So I might not be to much help. I had the PRO SPORT and the Sportsman. I liked em both.

Im sure the ones your looking at would be better suted for long trips like you do. They lookk to be way more cushioned.

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

Tom - I didn't know these seats were available until this post....but to be honest, I never looked around too much. I like them! The 1100 series looks comfy to me. I couldn't find any 1200 series?? Price seems reasonable, but with shipping....

I'm wondering how thier "Gray" seats would match up with my Sand Gray interior?

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

I found this at Summit Racing and gave them a call. There is no oversize shipping on them with only a 12.00 handling fee. Thats NO charge for shipping.
The 1100 series = http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...%20Seats&dds=1

Here's the 1200 series = http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...%20Seats&dds=1

Here's a link to all of there seats = http://procarbyscat.com/pdf/PROCAR_09.pdf

I kind of like the looks of the 1000 series.

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

Ahhh...just punched in 80-1200 on the Summit site, and found them. Nice seats too, I personally don't care for the stitching as much on those but they DO have lumbar support.

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

I have Procars in my car atm until I get the interior redone then they are going in my '68. I like them but buy the brackets they sell. Making your own is a pita.

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

Hey Uncle Tom, I'm a fellow Zoomie, too. Hope those seats work out for you. I'm having my front seats redone right now, trying to keep the original look to the interior. The drivers side needs some repair but the passenger side only needs cleaning. It's gonna cost about $400 for cleaning both fronts and repairing the driver side tears.

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

I had the Sportsman in my car, loved the seats, but my head was close to the roof, and made seeing out of the car difficult, ended up selling them and bought their Procar Rave x seats, those worked perfect for me, had me sitting lower in the car so I can finally see. When you install them, you will find that you will have to cut the seat brackets (not the seat adapters) to fit our cars

Re: PROCAR SEATS ???

well i was reminded to update . o.k. not a slam on summit . i have dealt with them alot and been happy . ordered seats on 4 mar. along with adapters . recieved adapters and a 2 wk. delay notice on seats . o.k. , then a 4 week delay notice . i then called and talked , then maybe 15 may . 2 1/2 months , i'm not happy . cancelled order after being told supplier would have to make them . maybe 15 may . well ended up getting my 4th gen. drivers seat re-worked for better lumbar support at a local shop . not sure if color or what was the problem . (i wanted grey) . once again not a slam but , call and consider before you order . good luck .
