RPO label reprint(s) and Tire info/door vin label reprints any one interested?
After reading this and many forums to find someone to reprint lost RPO code labels and the vin/tire size label(s), I have found someone that can reprint labels for a very good price. He made some up for me and look very good. I have the reprint of my RPO codes just got back in Mail today and am ordering the Door labels tomorrow. Let me know who else may be interested. Examples

My RPO codes were missing because the center Console was swapped out. I got my Dealer invoice and began decoding all of the options that came with the car. It took me a month or so, but. I was fortunate that I still had the coil spring labels to get the RPO codes right for them. My car is a Iroc-Z preferred group #3 and was pretty much loaded so it was easier to decode the RPO options. I just then listed them and got it printed.

It's a good resource. I'm scared some are going to be adding some "options" to their RPO that weren't original to that car. Hopefully it is not an exact reproduction.

The 1 on the original does not have a curved flag at the top
The 2 is wider in the original
The 3 does not have a flat top on the original
The angle on the 4 does not quite meet the vertical on the original
The 5 curves up from the bottom of the vertical instead of heading straight out
Cross point on the A is closer to the bottom on the original
Proportions of the upper and lower section of the B are greater in difference on the original
Tip & tail on the C do not go vertical on the original
Right side of the D is more curved on the original than the sample
The G does not have a flat bottom on the original
The M is narrower at the top than the bottom on the original
The U is not flat at the bottom in the original
The W is wider at the top than the bottom on the original
The bleed and letter thickness will also be difficult to duplicate - not sure what type of printer was used to produce the labels above (possibly a carbon Selectric) but it will likely be hard to find today.

You are correct that they are not PERFECT Reproductions of the Original. I was not fortunate enough to have an original or a pic of the original when I purchased the car to refurbish. However for $12- $17 for a print please let me know of anyone that could do better. I have been looking for months for ANYONE to provide this service or one similar. From what I have read on this wonderful and knowledgeable forum, there are others looking as well.

Don't get me wrong, those are great representations and when we have nothing - close is great. I actually know the effort it takes to reproduce products for old cars & it can often be a thankless and unprofitable venture.

The labels printed have a water proof option. As far as what can be read on old label or what you put on the new label is totally up to you. These are not exact reprints they are custom made. I spent a lot of time and resources to get mine just right with all the right codes.

Did your price include this waterproofing? I'm not all that concerned with exact font, close enough is good enough.
From what I understand its illegal to manufacture the door labels & if that's the case.Then I'm fine with this route.

I bought an 88 formula that has no console seats or carpet and the plastic has been painted. The Vin shows it to be a 5.7tpi. Its got a 327 Borg posi disk rear, aluminum drive shaft and the 16 in formula rims that come with ws6 . has wrap around wing,bulb hood and has a equilize tpyp radio. Manuel windows though. I want to find out how to get a list of my factory codes.
