Jegs High Performance ( GOOD CS)

I purchased some lifeters from that company a few months ago. Got the engine running... Lifters rattling away. Adjusted 4 times! Contacted Jegs and spoke with Customer service rep and they hooked me up. Not only are they sending me Upgraded lifter set at a discount. Theyre giving me an intake gasket set and a full refund on the defective lifters.AAA+++. Its crappy that i have to pull it all apart. Oh well.

Jeg's is a great company to deal with. They have real knowledgable people to talk to when you have a question and their prices are fair.

I like the company but I don't order from them just for the fact on how the site is set up. Sucks finding stuff. I would much rather go to Summit in which also seem to be a bit cheaper.

What type of lifters were they?

Been there done that.

Assuming there were hydraulic rollers?

i dont like either sites setup, and i live in alaska so they rape me on shipping, and a mandatory 11 dollar handing charge, in my mind thats bs so i dont order from them.

83Chevy_Camaro, it's "free" ground shipping so theorhetically you could just assume the handling charge is the cost of gorund shipping. Plus when I went to go order a fan and some wiring, 2 day was I think $13 extra and one day was like $23 which isn't bad at all.

Re: Jegs High Performance ( GOOD CS)

well the lifters were the jugs brand. Didn't need anything special. He sent me a intake gasket set, new lifters and some jegs stickers! Yes! LOL

Re: Jegs High Performance ( GOOD CS)

actually my brother has had a similiar problem with summit branded lifters, He bought a summit cam and lifter set and then, before we got the motor all ready to run, they sent out a bulletien saying that the paticular lifters he had gotten were bad, they did send him new lifters and gaskets though, my only complaint is that they sent cheap gaskets,

Re: Jegs High Performance ( GOOD CS)

Always had a great experience with them! Recommend to all! Shipping is super fast to PA (2 days) w/o paying for 2 day delivery (only a small handling fee).
