Facebook Thirdgen parts salvage.
Whats with this trend? Every group I get into is a bunch of idiots with supposed thirdgen parts salvage buisness. I mean I have delt with some dedicated local guys before years ago, like JohninRI comes to mind. They been doing it for years. Now it seems everyone is on the Hawks bandwagon. Ridiculous.

John in RI is a super guy to deal with. He usually has what you need and very helpful I can attest to that.

There are a ton of legit guys on Facebook. Guys with 10+ cars, reasonable prices that can be negotiated, etc.

i see nothing wrong with buying parts off guys from facebook. i've gotten some great deals. theres a guy locally here that parts 3rdgens out all the time,...and cheap & reasonable. i will never spend another penny with hawks, they've been rude, late, and way over-priced. thats just my experience. some people like them.

I personally have never had an issue with Hawks, but all of the stuff i've bought from them has been from their EBay store.
