Car: 1988 Gta trans am project 1-1/2
Engine: 86 4 bolt main cammed sbc 355 hsr
Transmission: 89 wc bw t5
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.27) pbr 11in
Cold air intake for hsr
Is there any cold air intake made for our 3rd gens if so where can I get one the one i got off of ebay looks to ginnie rigged and sits way to high that i cant even close the hood

Also forgot to mention this is a hsr setup in a 88 trans am not camaro

Make your own. I made mine out of 4" pipe from intakehoses.com. Get some couplers and bends similar to mine in the pic and get a big 4" k&n filter to put on the end.

Bought it years ago so I can't remember how much. It is 1 90 degree turn and 1 45 degree turn with 2 4 inch couplers and a long 4 inch coupler.

this is the slp one
this is the one I made.
I also notice cooler temps on my iat compared to the slp
i made my own with 4'' pipe as well...I had slp plastic one before..it was a lil restrictive.
once at the track I decided to take out and try and it picked up a .15 on the 1/4.
so I decided to make my own in 4''
I used a 90* rubber elbow a 4'' alum pipe I had already and 4'' high flow filter...cost me around 45 for everything on ebay.

I would need mine to come out to at least tothe radiator support cause im running ac on mine ill figure it out eventually right now mostly focused on getting my ebl flash kit and LS1 spindles
