Make your own. I made mine out of 4" pipe from intakehoses.com. Get some couplers and bends similar to mine in the pic and get a big 4" k&n filter to put on the end.

Bought it years ago so I can't remember how much. It is 1 90 degree turn and 1 45 degree turn with 2 4 inch couplers and a long 4 inch coupler.

Re: Cold air intake for hsr

this is the slp one

this is the one I made.
I also notice cooler temps on my iat compared to the slp

i made my own with 4'' pipe as well...I had slp plastic one before..it was a lil restrictive.
once at the track I decided to take out and try and it picked up a .15 on the 1/4.
so I decided to make my own in 4''
I used a 90* rubber elbow a 4'' alum pipe I had already and 4'' high flow filter...cost me around 45 for everything on ebay.

Re: Cold air intake for hsr

I've always been curios on a 4" pipe cold air inlet with high flow filter vs carb with a decent cowl. Would there be a difference? I know the iat will show different temperature but performance wise?
