I have to agree, try products and go with what works best for you. I just got done with a few coats of formula 113 on my car and I don't regret it one bit. I'll probably be using formula 113 for life. My car just has a glow to it... it's like the hott chick at school, lol.

hey i was also thinking with those test you did. with the travel of water and beading. How level was the car? was it perfectly level on both sides? How quickly did u pour the cup of water on each side?

dont wanna be a dick but u cant say much about either wax becuz of the water beading off quicker then the other if the car is not perfectly flat and u poured the water on in the exzact same spot at the exzact same speed i guess u could say.

becuz im thinkin the side with MGC was leaning more then the f113 and thats why one side beaded faster then the other.

now about the shine, someone did mention about the polish and cleaner and whatnot steps somewhere in this post. now if you use a cleaner or polish on both sides and then hit the same spots (different sides of car) with the MGC and f113, i think it will give better results. becuz most people will polish there car or use some sort of cleaner before using the wax or they will do the 3 step proses (spelling on that one) and then use either the MGC or f113 as the final wax.

Tim, yes...the car was on a level driveway, and no, it wasnt perfectly level to .00001". It was poured onto the the hood in the same location on both sides with the same amount of water at the same time. Both of the cups emptied at the same time. I guess you could go into all of these tiny details that could slightly change the results.

If you read what I said in my first post you can see that I already said that everything was the same in that water test. If you want to get technical you could go into how even the paint was sprayed on the car and such, but I wont go there.

This is just a simple test that I did in my driveway and not a chemistry lab.

I will say that yes, in other tests the F113 will win, but these are some ver simple tests that any normal pee-on could perform and acheive similar and/or different results.

i used the formula 113 on my car and i swore that that was all i would use from that point forward. the shine was amazing. but after the 2nd car wash the water actually beaded up less than my meguiars mirror glaze after 6 months. of coarse i didnt do a direct test so i cant say "blah is better than blah" but i can say that i was highly impressed by the shine of the 113. but i was dissappointed even more by the short lifetime, i mean it didnt even bead up for 3 weeks. im trying zaino next, i hear it lasts a long time.
