Since I´d like to refurbish my stock 15x7 wheels I would like to know some details:

Is the outlining on the spokes polished? It shines, but it´s not the high gloss finish seen on polished aluminum. Is there a clear coat on it?

Also, is there a clear coat on the painted section of the wheel?

I am considering painting the headlamp pockets on my RS:

From the countless books and brochures I have I found out that there wasn´t only the black paint available but charcoal, too. Is that correct? I have never seen a Z or an Iroc that had other headlamp pockets than black (alright, here in Austria Camaros are really rare).

Do the pockets have to be matte or are the shiny/clearcoated?

I don't know about the wheels. But the headlight buckets came with a flat-like finish from the factory.
