Re: Anyone else like this look?
No way, buy a BMW if you want one. Don't ruin a good American car. If the camaro was meant to have a grill they would have put one there.
Lights are Okay at best. They to be honest our cars don't support the look to pull off newer style lights. Retrofitted 4x6 lenses are the way to go for HID's. Never been a fan of halo's appearance wise especially on cars way before their time.

Doesn't look right at all... one grill opening is enough. Maybe put mesh where the foglights would go.
And it looks like your dog has a mustache.

Like the halo's and hood, not the janky looking nose vents though. Kind of reminds me a little of the 2nd gen setups between the headlights...

Hey man not my thing (the grill). I'm borderline on the lights. At the end of the day its your car, so do what makes you happy.
Just my Good luck on what you decide.

Re: Anyone else like this look?
Of course it does, that's a Pontiac grille. It would be cool as a Firebird, but that already exists. These kind of ideas would be better for the 5th gen, where they don't actually make a Firebird.

Re: Anyone else like this look?
Get rid of the Pontiac grille... The lines don't come close to fitting right.
Try something more along the lines of the new Cruze or Malibu instead.
And, blackbmagic, the Camaro used to have a grill there, in the second and first gens (had one on top and one on the bottom in the second). It was the third gen that put only a single grill in the bottom of the bumper and not on top (well, after GM deleted the 3 notches in the early bumper covers). Personally, if I had a Camaro, I'd go with the second-gen retro look with a grill above AND below, but that's probably because I'm partial to second gens...

Re: Anyone else like this look?
IMO, way to busy. To much going on with the hood, thous vents and the stock openings. No on the lights. There's just a few things that should/can be changed on a Third Gen Camaro and the classic front bumper cover/nose is not one of them .The red bow tie looks very nice and screams Chevy to every one.

Re: Anyone else like this look?
I really like that one, I think it would be awesome as a GTO. If I were to do something like that I'd rebadge it as a "GTO Custom Concept", and make sure it had plenty of hp to back up the name - maybe give it a classic GTO esque liverly too.

Re: Anyone else like this look?
I really don't like it but I guess you could put some kind of fine mesh screen behind the gaping holes because your showing everything there is that is supposed to be hidden .Open your hood and take off the plastic cover that sets around the hood latch and you will see what I am talking about. That includes the front of the radiator.

I say just leave the bumper stock but that's just me. The hood looks really good, and maybe the lights.

Okay...the Maro boys don't like the Pontiac T/A's... Of course we T/A owners always go out and spank the Chev's & Fords guys for being so...well you know what!....As for your look...again like some of the other post's it is what you want to do, if that makes you Happy, then do it. well you be different...Yes... but we all have our ideas.. live your dreams and don't worry what we think,...if you put this together right and rightous, they you'll win in shows. and when you bring home the joy, that'll shut up the others who go home with nothing!!! Make it happen.

I think it's awesome, and it can probably be done on a budget of $20 or less. Use a steak knife to cut out the inserts, a nail file to smooth the edges, a silver Sharpie to color the chrome surround, pick up a window screen from a junkyard for the inserts and use scotch tape to secure them. Hell, I could do this to my Camaro tonight without spending a dollar.

Ya know, I was going to make a come-back on your post about (our Opinion)...but after reading your post on (Sarcastic Maro Boy), I was laughing so damn hard, who would have thought a good comedian would come out of the Chicagoland area, maybe after I'm done over here in the sand-land area kicking butt and keeping our country safe from would be terrorist, maybe just maybe you'd could come out to the great northwest and see real living, and maybe go to some car shows and see if you could bring back some joy....I'd know you'd win the longest drive one!!!.... Your right about one thing thou.....Sarcastic Maro boy did get spanked by a Pontiac T/A, so much so that he took out his old Mill and put in a faster Mouse cage wheel...of course the lic. plate cover on the back end of my Z4 reads (Next time buy a Pontiac T/A) that REALLY gets the Maro boys going!!!

Re: Anyone else like this look?
Your more then welcome, but mind you, I always tell our Troops and share with them your post here on this fourm, The site the Service men use takes so long to load up. 5 min just to read a e-mail each. so they don't spend anytime they have with web sites like this. however I well have about 4-6 guys standing behind me telling what to write, so some of the things you read here is from a group collective. like what you've been reading above...they love the look of my 88T/A that is being finished by Hawkins out in SC. Bruce may start posting project photos of it or not, its up to him if he wants. but the guys out here love 3rd gen. and a few of them have one or the other T/A-Maro....so it gets on a hot subject at times, I have more race's planned then I think I can make lol....but to let everyone on here that is reading this now....your being watched by your younger war-fighters, who wish they had some of the parts your putting on your projects, The Turbo-build has been the (I want one) subject for the week, and rightly so....with all the young men around me (Mind you I'm 49) I've been made into the (I wish you where my daddy) guy... I love it!!! warms my heart, of course my 13 & 15 yr old already have dib's on both the T/A and the SuperBee, just leaving me the Z-4 to drive, my oldest son said something about it being a Bambi car?!! Of course I told him he's right! (witch put a smile on his face) but I also said to him, (Why do you think I like driving it so much?!!) Girls always come up and start to chat with me, and wanting a ride!!!! being Divorced does have its privlege's. after saying that, my oldest got the clue, his smile went from a laughter one to, Dad?!! Can I learn to drive in the Z?.....and the beat goes on!!! Thanks once again for your support, the guys out here love it!!! Tommy PFC says for you to go out and (Smoke the **** out of your tires,....In front of a COP) for him....He likes the smell of it!! ..But I don't really support this idea due to the Ticket that comes with it....lol....
