So ... it was the best day of the year here yesterday, so far, and i thought it would be a good day to clean out the inside of the ol girl. i wiped her all down on the inside, took out the trash, i even put in my leather wrapped ball style shift **** and lined up the gear indicator ... whats left to do now? take the t-tops out and take her down to vacuum her out ... i pulled up by the vacuum cleaner and went to back up a little and ... what the hell, a flat tire? i get out to look and all have air, strange ... so i look down and what do i see? the cup half of the tie rod end hanging on the ground! knowing i dont have the money to get new ones or have it towed home (and where i live you cant have a car that wont drive) i got out the jack and hammer, got the ball and cup lined up, jacked the car up by the cup and hit the spindle a few times and popped it back in place, then drove her home that way ... just the day before i had my wife and 3 year old son in the car doing 55-60 mph on the highway ... man i feel quite lucky ... but she is down for a while, till i can get the $40 to get new parts ... anyway i hope your nice weather days go better than mine did ... lol

yep, for $40 i can get all 4 from ebay ... parked till i get them ... found a copy of the original title in the car, found out i am only the 3rd owner of the car ... wish i could find owner #1 and punch him in the face for neglecting her so bad
