Mecham Racing Rear Spoiler
After reading the thread about the "proam" spoiler I realized that people seem to be interested in this wing.
A few years ago I was planning on making my own one so a nice guy in USA took these pictures and also measured the thing.
I then bought a dry rotten wing of a 89 pace car TA here in Sweden and was planning on modifying it to look like the MSE wing, then make a mold and a fiberglass part of it. Anyway, I haven't had the time to do it. However, the stock MSE wing can get dry rotten too.
I remembered reading about the MSE wing, when they did windtunnel tests on it, the wing produced around 250 lbs of downforce at 100 mph. Therefore it'll also produce some drag which might slow your car down in the 1/4. But for looks, yeah I love it!
Here are the pictures I've got:

That one IS the Mecham wing.
I never got the time or the energy to try and make my own "look alike", maybe next year...

This wing was only available on the MSE Trans Am:s during the 80:s. It's almost impossible to get one from the JY, and it's not available new. That's why I had an idea of making my own one, or a look a like one that is..
But that project is on hold...

Re: Mecham Racing Rear Spoiler
Is there a chance to get this spoiler today? I thought I have seen it once somewhere at an online shop.

Re: Mecham Racing Rear Spoiler
The Mecham wing is currently available from Mecham but now made in fiberglass. Google "Mecham" and check out their website. I actually spoke with Dennis Mecham about a year ago and he stated they had decided to release the wing for sale again. Price is around $400.
