Orange 88- do you have any other view of your car? I'm having mine painted Monarch Orange (essentially the same as Hugger) in a month and I'm still struggling on my striping details....
:-)
Thanks!

House of Kolor Cobaly Kandy Blue Mid Coat (7)
House of Kolor Clear Coat (4)
I did it myself, lots of wetsanding to get that paint flat after 14 coats of paint. The tricky thing is you cant let the mid coat dry in between coats or it'll look weird.
The attachment is right after I painted the car. I then had to paint my GFX silver to throw off the police for a few weeks until I could get my license straightened out, lol

Hey only took four months for me to find this post
That one guy was sure right there is at least one camaro with a Corvette Le Mans Blue Paint code U 933L with SEM Thunder Blue metal flake
All my own work in three weeks worth of late nights and weekends and my first ever complete Paint and flame job. (of course I had been painting collision repair for about a year and half by then

cherry red metallic, gm paint code B9018 (comes on trucks and suvs, i loved the depth of the color). Painted at a local shop, took 4 weeks. the pictures don't show the flakes very well but the color is very deep.

I painted my car myself (first paint job/body work ever) about 5 years ago with the help of the book "How to Paint Your Car". It took me about 2 months doing it after work and on weekends when I could.
basecoat/clearcoat
Color: Viper GTS Blue (blue with blue pearl) - would have to look the color code up.
Brand: Whatever NAPA Gives out
I had it down to the metal on the entire car. Grabbed a spoiler off a friends junker and put that on. The first 2 photos are of the new paint, the 3rd photo illustrates why I needed to paint my car.

Nice color!!! I just sold my 85 Z28 and it was sunset orange as well. It is one of the best looking colors and I did get a lot of compliments on it as well!

factory color, some peices were redone by a local shop owner for $400...included front/rear bumpers, around the windshield, covertible U-shape boot, and passenger quarter panel b/c there was a dent in the corner and the paint was cracked... all for $400
not sure on the paint code but i will find out and edit this post. i know it's the lighter of the 2 blue colors available in '91...and it IS metallic

Car: too many ...
'02 Sunset Orange Metallic - Previous owner had it painted, I talked to the painter but didnt get any specs on the paintjob. This paintjob was kind of an "extra", I was looking for a rust free car I planned to re-paint, ended up finding this. I still plan to re-paint it and I've decided on the color but I'm keeping it secret...
Custom PPG Mix - We were trying to replicate the GM color "Fairway Green Metallic" without the metallic but the shade was off by a bit. Painted this with the help of my girlfriends dad. Car was originally white. 3 days of prep and paint. Car was painted in an open garage at 9pm with a track event the next morning. LOL! Drove it home semi-wet and only picked up about 5 bugs. This is a single stage enamel job with only 2 coats and no clear. We named it "Gangreen"...

Check out SLP's web site and see if it fits into your budget. I think that have some silver painted ones on special or something.

i have a feeling that the painted silver ones' would look a lil 'odd on my blue camaro
i'm looking at polished and hyper black now....can't seem to tell the difference between polished and chrome, except the price
