Help with Foglight adjustment

Okay so this is the problem. Bought some new foglights off here for 30 bucks, super excited. Got one in today and it doesnt line up with the bumper. And then i realized that i forgot that the car was wrecked on the drivers side. We recently got a new bumper put on. The foglight is screwed in and moderately adjusted, but i looked and its about 2-2 1/2 inches above where the hole for it on the bumper is

So my question is, should i do all i can to adjust the foglight,or straighten out the fender or frame best i can? OR just leave it like it is?
Heres some pics:
You can see in the second picture that the top part of the foglight hole for the bumper is about 2 inches below the top of the light.
So what are your guys suggestions
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Im just a kid and still learning so im debating which way to go

Re: Help with Foglight adjustment

If it was my car, I would be sitting there bending everything every possible way to get it perfect. But that's just me... I think it would also work better too if all of the light is able to shine through.

Re: Help with Foglight adjustment

well I've never dealt with factory fog lights, but if it were me I would either hit up the junk yard and see if I could get some replacement parts from another trans am or if that's not an option for you, then maybe you could use some scrap metal and mock up new brackets...

Re: Help with Foglight adjustment

also make sure they're not side specific... and or also try mounting them rotating them 180 degrees...

Re: Help with Foglight adjustment

Fix the car the way it should be, not mod a part to fit a wrecked car.

As a TEMPORARY fix, you could make bracket spacers to lower the fog light to fit in the opening, but I wouldn't actually mod a part to get it to fit.
