Re: dupli-color automotive paint
Dupli-color is lacquer paint. it will dull.
Tractor paint etc. will also adhere to you current primer/paint where laquer will need it's own primer.
Dupli-color will also cost morewhen you are done than if you went with a low end urethane paint.

Re: dupli-color automotive paint
What type of duplicolor paint are you refering to? I can definetly say that there vinyl paint is excellent, my interior was originally grey and I completely redyed it black. Worked great and looks better than stock!!!

Re: dupli-color automotive paint
the duplicolor line of "paint shop" paint found in most auto part stores. its a lacquer based paint, which is harder to spray, and harder to upkeep.

Re: dupli-color automotive paint
Oh okay, never used that before went to sherwin Williams to get my paint. Took my own paint code and had them mix it for me. Really good quality paint and I'm cool with the guys that work in the one near me so they even let me in after hours which was really cool!!

Re: dupli-color automotive paint
its supposed to be for the "budget" minded diyer. they normally have quart cans for like $20 on the shelf. i have though about using the matte clear they have though. just need to find out if the clear is compatable with a bc/cc system.
