peeling clearcoat
I've got a small spot on my hood where the clearcoat is beginning to peel. It keeps spreading and peeling and I can't stop it. Is there a way to keep the clearcoat from coming up. The paint under the clearcoat is fine but it's seperating. Is there any way to stop the peeling without repainting. Thanks

Troy, I've got the same problem with my red Z. I have been using clear nail polish on those spots that are lifting,as long as the area is small, you don't want to paint a fender with it. This also works great with those rock chips you get on the paint from flying rocks on the road.

The same thing has happened with my car. Started with a small section and was just affecting the hood. Since I was going to get a cowl hood anyways, I never messed with it. Then it slowly spread to a spot on the roof and then the spoiler, so now the entire car is being repainted.
