Paint job on my 1991 Camaro (Before n after pic) !
Hey guys,
Thought that I would share some pic of my 1991 Camaro before, during and after the paint job.
Before the paint job my car had different kind of shades of white
Hope you guys like it
Couldn't find more of the "before" pic, think my son has deleted them
As you can see that the front lip spoiler is really s*** so my late father helped me fix it and the result was awesome but...
Thought that I would share some pic of my 1991 Camaro before, during and after the paint job.

Stripping the car and using filler to fix all the dents and to recreate the lines.
All the yelloish is the filler and i was used a LOT

Reason they had to grind all the way to the sheet metal was coz they found that the old paint had been done on the rust itself.
2 days ago I saw that they have started to do the first primer which is called "hard primer" which prevents the chassis from the rust. (Thats what they told me).

I actually don't know what white color my car had since it had different kind of shades of white but I will be going with white. It's my friend who owns a paint shop so he'll choose some kind of white.
I just hope I don't get my car in pink

Here are some pic after the car had a "hard" primer on it and the primer was grinded but somehow the primer didn't get dried so they had to take away the primer and now they are gonna put another primer on it but I thought the job was going ahead and not backwards

As you can see on the other side of the roof that they have taking away the primer and i am back on square 1. I was suppose to get my car back at the end of Apr 2014 but it's better that the guys do a good job so I don't mind if it take a bit longer.
But the hood and the hatch are been done with the right primer.
Even the primer looks top notch compare to the white color it had before (different kind of shades of white)

There doing a very nice job and something like this does not come cheap.

What would you guys recommend, 18' or 19' ? and what should be the width/height of the tire ?
Any idea's or maybe some pic you guys have with good rims that would look good on this Camaro ?

Thanks !Actually in Sweden this kind of a paint job would cost around $15000. It's my friend who is doing this so that's why it's cheap for me

Looks great! My paint job cost me $2200, the owner of the body shop cut me a huge discount for being a repeat customer. Your car looks awesome though, keep up the good progress on it...

Looks great. Put it on the 16" 91-92 Z28 16's. With white triming... car looks great. I'll hopefully be doing the same thing soon, same color.

As far as wheels go i went with some chrome iroc replicas and I like them. I wish I would have went 17 or 18 instead of the stock 16.

I can't remember the offset now. I went with the replicas partially because they were already at an offset that worked. They can be rotated too unlike the stock ones.

Went to look at the progress of my car after 2 weeks and I was happy to see how far they had come. Now it's almost done just some minor stuff, door lists, handles, etc.
