Whats the latest on rust removal for undercarriages?
Can any of you guys recommend a gel solution that i can leave on overnight?
I'd really rather not sandblast.
There seems to be awesome rust removal tips and tricks here as well as some recommended products, but Rust Bomb (which looks ideal) is out of Stock.

If it's just surface rust, buy about a qt.-1/2 gal WD40and put it in a squirt-spray bottle and spray the heck out of it.leave it on for a couple days(put a plastic tarp down 1st).

I used Eastwood's Rust Converter and then painted over it when it was dry. It's a 2-part product that neutralizes the rust.
Looks like this when it dries.
After painting.

But por doenst treat or repair rust, it just encapsulates it. Not a fan. The rust neutralizer is a better bet since it actually kills the rust before you cover it.

Used it for surface rust on parts of my '56 vette with great success. However it will discolor cast iron if left on too long, which will then need to be blasted to removed the discoloration. Made this mistake on the exhaust manifolds.

How bad is it? Do you have access to a lift? I just Modified an old pop-up camper frame into a utility trailer. It had some heavy rust I scraped/wire wheeled first. Spray on a diluted muriatic acid, wait 15 minutes, power wash all the rust right off, spray on a neutralizer (simple baking soda and water mix), wash again. Finally blot dry with towels and allow it to dry. I had some slight flash rust that wiped away easily with the pre-sol before I painted with enamel. It's been sitting uncovered in the weather for the last 7 months and still looks great.
