Hard top Weatherstripping questions
Hey guys.
I've scoured the internet trying to find any info on how to install the weatherstripping correctly on a hard top, and all I ever find is for t-tops.
I've got them all installed without adhesive, but I want to make sure I install it in the corners correctly..
Any tips to not make a crazy mess? Should I use adhesive the entire length, or only in the corners?

Re: Hard top Weatherstripping questions
I used adhesive where factory had it (was pretty easy to tell). The 3M stuff rocked.
Pretty much was on most the run, with spots of heavier concentration on corners and stress points. Where the window meets on the door pillar likes to pull away without the adhesive.

Yeah, I just said screw it and applied.
I know factory had adhesive, but that wasn't my question. ;-) All of the repro is just rubber, no adhesive.
We'll see how well it does. I made sure to fill the corner up as that was were it was leaking from. Also readjusted the windows to obtain better contact against the rubber.
