How much can I sell this for?

I was going to restore this car, but its a lot of work, and i dont have very much knowledge as a mechanic. It is rust free. Comes with most interior plastic. Includes 2 trans, a taken apart 350 tpi. So, how much do you think i could sell this for? I want to sell this and buy a running one.

Ask for it and see what happens. You may end up having to take less then what you want for it. It will take a special person to buy a project such as yours. Most people dont have the time, space, skills or desire to put one of these back together and the sad thing is for only a few thousand more, one could buy a running driving vehicle and work on it as they drive it. I would post it in the for sale thread on this website as well.

I'd check craigslist for similar cars in your area. In my area you could pick up something similar for $1000, and who knows how much they have to come down on their asking price.

I'd say $1500 is reasonable. Lot's of people out there are doing engine swaps anyway, so it could be perfect for someone.

Re: How much can I sell this for?

From your previous posts I see you are 15. This car seems like it is too much for you to handle. There is enough there and in good enough shape you should be able to find a buyer for between $1000 and $1500.
However, another route you could take is to part out the car and make more money. The trannys and engine block could net you near a grand and the other parts could bring even more. Any left over parts could be used on what you buy. The knowledge of the parts that make up your car will be helpful in the future as well. Good luck either way you go!

Re: How much can I sell this for?

Post it for sale in multiple Craigslist venues. Definitely the Chicago region craiglists. When I lived up in that region I would have gladly paid $1000 for a rust free roller with a full interior. You should be able to post to a dozen different craiglist venues that are all within 3 hours drive from you. IMO, you should be able to make at least $1000 from what you have. Anybody that doesn't think so isn't taking into account that you are in the rust belt with a rust free complete roller and the price on thirdgens has finally started to appreciate. The engine and tranny may or may not help the price. If they were all running then they should help, if not I would sell them separately or keep them as a core.
