Moser rear end brakes
I purchased a moser 9" rear end and at the time wanted to stay with the factory rear drum brakes to save on cost (I thought) After I ordered the rear end I found out we couldnt use our stock rear drums any way and needed to install drums off of say a 71 chevelle (9.5" drums) Now that I have those housing ends on there and its such a hassle to get parts for a different cars drums and know how it all goes togeher. I was wondering If there is anyway to run disc brakes with those rear end housing ends on there. Possibly a aftermarket conversion bracket or soemthing? Has anybody made the same mistake as me and changed over to disc?? Thanks for the help guys!

Re: Moser rear end brakes
What housing ends did you get on the rear...big Ford early or late, or something else?

Re: Moser rear end brakes
The housing ends are gm 10 bolt 12 bolt housing ends and there labeled just 12 bolt in the picture attached. So I think the lt1 backing plate would bolt up but how do I know if the offset is right ? Where can I buy the lt1 brackets as well? Thanks

Re: Moser rear end brakes
The standard GM offset/overhang is 2.75", verify that with the guys who built your rear. If you have standard c clip axles then the LS1 and LT1 backing plates will work.
