Re-running brake lines?

Re-running brake lines?
1987 Iroc Z28.
Im pulling everything out of it, getting the engine bay cleaned up and the brake lines that come off the booster are ridiculous. Can I remove those and reroute them cleaner? Do they have to be the same length?
If you have seen the stock lines they look ridiculous. Just a nest or lines
wrapping and they get in the way off everything. Ideally I would just run new lines to the front. Clean and out of the way.. I wanted to make sure I didn't have to have the lines a certain length or a certain amount of loops.
Thanks for the time.

Re: Re-running brake lines?
Length is not critical. The loops are for vibration, but as long as you mount the lines secure shouldn't be a problem. If you wanted to get crafty you could make some smaller loops using a socket to wrap the line around forming the loop.
