1986 Trans Am Brake Switch

I have searched the net for my brake switch for my 1986 Trans Am and I am coming up empty. My switch has a vacuum line connected to the back of it and the ones that come up in a search don't. Does anyone know a part number for this?

The one with the vacuum port is the cruise control switch assembly. Try this part number:

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # SLS234

Re: 1986 Trans Am Brake Switch

Thank you for the response. I figured it out yesterday evening. It was cold and raining the day I first looked at it so I was in the car, upside down, with my feet hanging over the reclined seat. I couldn't get a good look and it was a little disorientating in that position at the time. I have the new switch in and have functioning brakes now after removing the jumper wire the PO ran from the third brake light to the tail light harness, it was causing some weird turn signal/brake light issues.

I always dread working under the dash. Sometimes it is easier to just remove the driver seat. Good deal on getting it squared away.
