C6 Z06 6 Piston Brakes
Hello, I have been offered a set of Z06 calipers rotors and pads. They are the 06-13 6 piston calipers with a 14 inch rotor. What I need to know before I buy them, is can a fit 17 inch rims over them? Thanks in advance

Nothing else comes close on brake clearance.

The only 17" wheel on the market that will fit over those is the CTW Motorsports offering:

I'm doing the same right now. I got the c6 vette wheels . They were only 600 used. But the tires are 1600 new. Don't throw out the z06 pads cause there over 500 new. You need spacers and wheel nuts 150, and 1000$ worth of plates spindles, hubs, e brakes, cables and hoses. I bought my calipers and rotors for 800, so this brake conversion will essentially cost me a small fortune. But still a tiny bit cheaper than the brembo or baer equivalent sets.

I was only going to do it on the front, but after learning that I can't use 17 inch rims I think I will just stick to LS1 brakes

Paul, would you happen to know if the new line of Weld RTS wheels would clear the C6 Z06 brake package? Weld offers their RTS wheels in three configurations. Low Pad, Medium Pad and High Pad. Obviously the high pad is designed for big brake kits.
Update:
Just found this application guide on Welds website for the RTS line. Looks like the C6/Z51 brakes WILL fit with their 17" wheels. They do not mention anything about the Z06 brakes with 17" wheels.
