The gto spare is the same as a c5 spare isn't it?
Its a full size spare, will not fit in the stock rear compartment and wont clear the hub without a little work.

I believe it is the same as the C5 spare. Yeah, I got to looking up the tire sizes and comparing the heights. The spare tire that comes with the GTO is somewhere around 25" tall. The stock thirdgen spare is probably closer to 22". Would need to install a different size tire on the GTO/C5 spare to get it to fit in the wheel well.

So, does the GTO spare fit in the camaros storage space? If not, couldn't the tire be swapped for the inflatable type.Ive seen a few 16 & 17" inflatable spares from time to time at the JYs.
