im looking for a different project i have made this car exactly what i want it and now im wanting to start on something else. i just bought an 86 z28 camaro with 35,000 miles on it that im restoring as an everyday driver so i want to trade my iroc for something different. i have put a ton of time and $ into this car i figure i have over $15,000 in it and you can tell the car is absolutely beautiful. i will give a list of what all has been done to the car but i will start off by saying everything that goes bad on a car has been replaced on this car pretty much. the car comes with two drivetrains also!

motor: 350 sbc comp xe-268 cam, gmpp crate heads, full serpentine belt drive ac is all there just not hooked up. holley street dominator intake holley 650 dp accell full billet distributor chrome valve covers chrome breather 3" k&n, the bottom end was not rebuilt b/c it is a low mileage block 010 4 bolt main block 2 pc rms i had a performance shop put in the cam new double roller timing chain magnafluxed the heads and completely went through and replaced everything, i did new lifters and pushrods springs retainers keeps seals rocker arms nuts everything was replace when i did it. that was not even 1000 miles ago.

exhaust: edlebrock 1 5/8 TES headers and y-pipe, replaced the cat with a cutout and 3" exhaust all the way back into a flowmaster with dynomax turndowns.

fuel: mallory 3 port fuel pressure regulator for use with the factory pump. running into a new holley 650 double pumper.

exterior: 17" chrome iroc wheels with 245/45/17 tires all around in great shape not too many miles on them maybe like 2000-3000 miles on them.

new paint, base coat clear coat it is a show paint job flame red metallic with some pearl. paint used was sickens paint which carrys a 10 year warranty on the paint deffects like fading or clear coat problems, everything.

all billet iroc-z emblems black and etched with iroc-z

all new euro diamond cut lights in the front with all new bulbs clear sidemarkers the works.

15% tint on the windows new gm door handles and rubber window sweeps.

shaved antenna, widemouth mod gloss grill headlight buckets and louvers.

transmission: 700r4 automatic basically stock with about 40,000 miles was replaced by previous owner. the car comes with a complete 5-speed swap everything you need to change over minus the clutch kit!

rear end: i have a freshly rebuilt with maybe 300 miles on it 9 bolt rear with 3.45 gears and a new posi unit. i replaced all the wheel bearings and seals b4 i put it in also all new brakes all around it they are disc. the only drawback to this rearend is that it whines when you are off the gas b/c the gears are set in tight. its not really bad untill you get up to speeds above 55mph but it is noticeable below 55.

i have a complete 2.73 geared 10 bolt with drum brakes which is the factory rear from this car that goes with it in perfect shape.

interior: the interior is grey and in good shape, i was going to tackle the interior next but i havent got to it really to make the interior perfect it needs new cargo area carpet and a driver seat b/c mine has two tears in it. but im sure it can be recovered easy.

dual gauge pod with water temp and oil pressure on the appiller 5" monster tach under the middle ac vent. all red dash lights.

recovered headliner and added overhead console.

4th gen grey seatbelts front and back.

all new hood and hatch shocks.

stereo: i have a sony cdx-m800 headunit very nice deck i might add.

pioneer 4x6's and sony 6x9's

profile ap2000 watt amp in the back with no subs right now i have a 12" infinity kappa that can go with it bnib i was going to build a box but havent yet.

suspension: all poly bushings, motor mounts and trans mount are energy suspension poly

all new poly sway bar bushings and endlinks

big iroc sway bar and wonderbar

rear lower control arm relocation brackets.

aftermarket adjustable panhard bar goes with it not installed.

the springs are intrax 2" drop springs and the stance is PERFECT i got the alignment done immediately after i lowered it so the tires are worn even and it tracks perfect. the rear i removed the isolators to even out the stance so the back end is a little lower now than in the pictures, it doesnt have as much of a rake it is a little more even now but still lower in the front just not by much.

new struts in the front by moog and monroe rear shocks.

hmmmmmmmmmm idk what else to say im sure there is sooooo much more that i am leaving out but really this car is immaculate it deserves a good home i have over $15K in it at least. im looking to get $11K out of it or trade for something different whatever you got let me know i am open to whatever but i would like to have a manual car.

the milage on the chasis is just under 135,000 but the motor and rearend have less than 1,000.

you guys need to buy it now here b/c i will be putting it on ebay if it doesnt sell here and i KNOW it will bring that price through ebay.

That was before the minor body damage it has on the fender, though. Very minor, but you and I both know body work aint cheap. Just past 100k miles.

i know its a great car and should bring in some decent cash. i just personally think that posting on tgo might take a bit of time to really find the right buyer to offer the 11k he wants.

Apparently he doesn't want to sell it too bad. He hasn't responded to this post. Is the car still for sale? Is it sold? How many miles are on this thing? It may have a nice paint job, but if it's got 140k miles on it......

and im pretty sure the car will bring that price but i doubt it will here. i just figured i would try for a trade b/c i knew no one would want to spend this price from this site. but it will bring the price it just depends on how much i want to sell it, i have only listed it on here for the time being.

i guess i forgot to mention the motor and rearend have less than or close to 1000 miles on them. and i am getting the 700r4 rebuilt soon to handle the power.

It is a nice car have seen it in person, But 11k is pretty high for this car. Now maybe if the interior was redone then maybe you might be able to get close to that. I have looked on e-bay and low mileage cars that are show quality are getting 9-10k. But anyway this is a nice care. Good luck getting what you want for it Mike. Hate to see you loosing intrest in her so soon. I guess you get that when you see how much these car take to get them were you want them. I have done allot to mine also but no were close to being done. But anyway bump for a pretty car

11k? Good luck...youll be lucky if you get 8k in my opinion. Its a nice car and the new paint job looks slick but its not really "complete". No one is going to buy a third gen for 11k with a ripped up driver seat. Id fix that before id even ask.

Do you have any shots of the undercarraige or the engine? Were the door jams, engine bay, etc. painted? Anymore pictures? I may have someone interested.

what im really looking for is a trade HINTS THE TITLE. dont nag the price if you arent interested and that wasnt directly towards you stevo but to everyone, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay that has always been my belief i just have to find the right buyer which will take time. im really wanting to find a good trade. this thread is mainly just a feeler for whats out there so if there are any trades out there lmk im willing to trade plus cash or get something plus cash just feeling whats out there right now.

the small stuff i can do b4 the car goes like recover the seats, the carpet is in good shape but if i was to show the car i would replace it, but i am a freak when it comes to small details.

anything else you guys want to know just ask.

also if you look on ebay there is an all original iroc, dark maroon factory iroc wheels all stock low mileage car for 14,500$ on ebay right now, imo my car is above that car in selling power but i think his price is high also. my price is already giving me a almost if not a $5K loss.

5PTWHOA maybe on the 92 z28 but it depends on how much cash and condition of the car i really want to trade to get out of thirdgens for the time being i still have an 86.

cool lemme know if you want it then and about how much you might need with it..... and a list of new stuff for it all done within the last month.....new motor mounts, hooker comp headers, flowmaster 40 series mufflers, front chrome reproduction bumper, trans crossmember, front windshield and bought a set of gray leather buckets out of a 2000 tahoe, but they havent been put in yet.....cant seem to find anybody around here willing to yet and i dont know how to do it as im sure the original seat frame will need modification to make it fit

You guys down in the states are spoiled.
11k for that car would be a great deal in Canada. I'd have flown down there and brought it back with me if you'd have sold it last year. Now I've spent $20000 on mine in the last year plus all the money I spent previously on the engine, rear end ect.
