1983 Camaro Z28 H.O. San Antonio, TX
Up for sale is a '83 Z28. I bought this car with the intention of doing a full restoration on it. However due to buying a house in the near future I am selling the car. The vehicle does not run and will need to be trailered if bought. This one of 3223 Z28's built with the H.O. engine and a 5 speed. Car has Pwr Windows, Locks , Hatch, Mirrors, Tilt, Cruise, Intermittent Wipers, Pwr Driver Seat, LS Conteur Interior, T-Tops, Air Conditioning and Rear Defroster. I am asking $1000.00 firm. Any questions you can email me herbmart965@yahoo.com.

Pretty rare piece. I am sure that there are at most a few hundred 83 L69 cars remaining. Would you have any more photos? I am over in Louisiana, and have been looking for an early third gen Z. What's the story on your car? I see that you are over in San Antonio, but the car looks to have some rust from the photos. The photos posted make the car look pretty rough. Please give us the details. Thanks, Oldtimer.

Hello Rudy,
Rudy,
yes it is a pretty rare car and I was surprised when I found it. Well the good is that it is the original engine, Transmission, Rear End (3.73), 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Original T-Top Bag, even the exhaust is still original. Not much on the History of the car but it came from the Van Nuys California plant based on the VIN. The bad well it pretty much speaks for itself based on the pictures. It is pretty rough but I knew that when I saw it. The battery is dead and do not know if the engine will turn over. The interior needs to be redone. The right side of the car needs to be fixed since it was hit but someone did a poor job of trying to fix it. I bought the computer for the car based on ebay from another '83 L69 car plus the dash emblem along with the shop manual for the year and the haynes maintenance manual and electronics manual. Like I said I was gonna do a total restoration of the car but buying another house and the location will not let me do that. If you want to i can email you more pictures of the car. Any questions let me know.
