Engine: Someday again I will have another!!
Nice 1987 Iroc-z WI!!
1987 Iroc-z FOR SALE
I hate to sell her, but I needed a bigger car for everyday driving and I found one, so she has to go.
125K miles on car. 305 TPI(hedmann headers, 3 in exhaust with flowmaster, cool blue filters, air foil, ported plenum, accell wires, 180* thermo, fans on a switch), auto, 3.23 posi rear end with 4 wheel disc brakes. Its a real Iroc-z, 8 speaker stereo, T-tops, overhead console, self dimming mirror, power windows/hatch/lock/driver's seat. 25k miles I was told on engine and tranny. Sure seems like it too. Runs out good, although I have only put on like 1500 miles I bet. Thats why I am selling her, just don't get to enjoy it with the kids like I thought I would. Anyways back to the car. Great interior, good brakes, good tires, and solid suspension. Pioneer CD player, Grant GT steering wheel. Fog lights have been added since pictures were taken and it now has correct Iroc-z shifter.
What it needs: AC components are pulled from vehicle, but I still have them. Driver's door need new pins or bushing(not sure which). Needs new plenum/runner gaskets.(small air leak, causing bad idle when cold) Needs new driver's side header gasket. I would include these gaskets with purchase if the price is right. It also has a tranny leak were speedo cable connects. This leak is very very slow.....a drop every week. Its just a little gasket. Cruise control is not working and the washer fluid spray button on blinker stick is busted. The driver's seat is missing or only bolt down on 3 corners, so it needs attention. Trying to be honest as possible about the car. This car runs great and I would take it tommorrow on a 3 hour cruise. But, all these things that need attention are what makes my price negotiable. $2900 obo, keep in mind folks this car is 20 years old and your not coming to look at a show car. Pictures can be found in my signature. Thanks, Nick.
