1988 IROC Z-28 Maryland
Well I found a deal that I could not pass up and so I must sell my baby.
It is a white on black 1988 Iroc Z-28, 350 TPI car, 700R4, T-Tops, 9 bolt 2.77, I have 3.27 and carrier that go with it, 4 wheel disc, power windows, power locks, power hatch release, dual electric fans with on-off switch.
This car is all original, it has no mods done to it. The mileage is unknown, it says 91xxx but the odometer does not work.
The interior is perfect except the drivers seat is heavely worn, I just never got around to getting it re-upolstered, the dash is immaculate, I redid the headliner, at which point I installed an overhead console (no flashlight). The carpet is showing that it is 20 years old.
The paint is starting to show its age as well, it still looks good. there are a couple of dings here and there from just normal driving not noticeable unless looking for them. it has some surface rust on the deck lid but is an easy fix.
The drive train is still very strong, has a lot of power. I've taken it to the track a few times and ran high 14's. Oil changes every 3 months. This car has been mechanicly owned for the last 16 years. The car shifts very smooth, and is ready to drive anywhere. Since I have owned it I have never had a no start situation or broken down.
I am asking $3800 OBO I check TGO pretty often so you can PM me or just reply to this thread.

More Pics. I also forgot to mention that I put in an aftermarket stereo that I'll be taking out of the car except for the deck. The original head unit will come with it also if whoever buys the car wants it.

Hi, Couple a questions, Do you guys get snow down there in MD? Any rust? How clean is the underside? How long has the ODO shown 91K? Can you post some picks of the underside? Thanks

yeah we get snow here in Maryland, I'll get some shots of the underside as soon as possible I won't have access to a lift until thursday but I'll throw it on a jack and get some shots of it. The ODO stopped working last December.

Re: 1988 IROC Z-28 Maryland
Heres the spots I'm talking about. I'm going to the junkyard this weekind and I'll see about a new decklid or I might just sand it out and repaint it. The pic on the right is driverside by the hatch. I'll get it on a lift Friday and get some shots of the underside.

Looks like the 3.27 gears are going to be going away shortly but the carrier will still go with the car.

Re: 1988 IROC Z-28 Maryland
I'm not really interested in any trades. I would really rather have cash since I already picked up my new car. Also I didn't have time to get it on a lift today but the first opportunity I have I will get pics of the underside.

Re: 1988 IROC Z-28 Maryland
Heres some shots of the underside, as you can see there is some surface rust really pretty good for a twenty year old car from the northeast. I didn't get it on a lift I just took some shots of it from the ground, if there are any questions or want more pics just ask.
