'90 IROC Convertible in NY $7000
1990 IROC convertible, red exterior, gray interior, black top, approximately 96k miles. All original except for subframe connectors and an edelbrock cat back with stock appearing tailpipes. TPI305 and auto, runs excellent, always garage kept, super clean car, brand new oem top. I hardly ever drive it and rent a garage for storage. This car is truly my baby and has been meticulously kept as long as I have owned it. I hate to sell it but it never gets used. Please call 914-497-9749. Located in Yonkers, NY Larry

None since I've owned it and none were shown on the carfax I did when I got the car, so no, I don't think it has ever been hit.

Hi. I was looking through your old posts and I found this one back from 2001:
Is this the same car or a different IROC convertible? I just want to make sure because I am only half hour away and very interested.

For about two years I've been saving for an IROC convertible. Two saturdays ago, I looked at one and put down a deposit, and took it home the following monday. This thursday night, I was stopped at a red light and someone rear ends me. The quarter panels are pushed up past the doors, the top won't close because it overshoots the top of the windshield by and inch. I'm pretty sure it's totaled. It took some self restraint and a lot of physical restraint to keep me from busting the kid in his grill. My question is what the hell should I do now? Has anyone been through this with their convertibles? How much should I expect to get from the guy's insurance company? Even if it's possible to get the car fixed, I really don't want a car that's been in that bad of an accident. Should I try to get the car back from the insurance company and take all the hard to find convertible parts and other valuables? Any advice would be appreciated. What sucks even more than losing my dream car less than two weeks after I bought it, is that another one of these awesome cars is gone because of some moron who wasn't paying attention while driving.

No, that's a different car. That car got sold with the damage on ebay a month or two after the accident. This car was bought a few months later and is a much cleaner car than the first one.
