1985 Z28, Oshkosh WI
I am selling my 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I bought the car to finish into a nice car. I have since bought a 67 Chevelle which is going to take up my time and money, so the Z28 is for sale.
The car did have the factory Tuned Port Injection on it which I took off and sold. I have since put on an Edelbrock intake and Holley 650 dbl pumper carb and Aeromotive bypass fuel regulator. The engine is a 350 (010) block. 441 heads. The engine and trans have about 600 miles on them as I was told by the previous owner. I put on maybe 5 miles.
The motor was spic and span when I had the intake and valve covers off. I also put on Edelbrock aluminum valve covers.
It also has shorty headers and DUAL pipes and mufflers out the back. Welded in subframe connectors, 4-wheel disc brakes, B&M Megashifter and Autogage (I think) tach and some cheap gauges. The transmission is a 700R4 and was performance built as the previous owner said.
The body is in really good condition. There’s NO RUST!!! the floors and frame are not rusty either. The body does need door dings and such smoothed out and obviously needs paint. This is a real solid car to work on though. Some stuff is loosely attached, some ground effects, front bumper cover etc. Not falling off.
The interior is out of a 91 I was told. Drivers and passenger side rear have cigarette holes in them. Door panels and carpet are good, may need to be cleaned. There is NO headliner, common for these to sag/fall down.
The car does need attention, header gasket/gaskets leaking and exhaust clamp under car needs to be replaced, some interior panels off but included. Has power windows and I think locks. Drivers window does not go down. Have good used regulators that go with. Haven’t tried the locks. No key locks in the doors or hatch lid. Heater core not hooked up. Loose/ unused wiring on car. Wheels look to have been bead blasted or acid washed. Need to be polished or leave as is for the satin look. Brakes are all good. Suspension had been gone thru. Needs the intermediate shaft that goes between the Steering gear box and column. I have a good used shaft, included.
Available to the purchaser is a Harwood 3 or 4 inch Cowl Induction Hood for an extra amount. I do have an 85 Tuned Port and 87 Trans Am Tuned Port set up (Complete) if someone wanted to reinstall that. Neither is included with the car. Probably have other parts as well.
I only want $1250 for it. I'll keep it if I can't get that. If enough people commit to buy parts then I may part it out.

Car did not sell here or on that one big auction site. I put it away for the winter and the Harwood hood is not for sale because the car did not sell. Guess I'll keep the car and finish it after the other 3 cars I have to do.......
