1988 L98 IROC for sale
I am at a crossroads with this car, it is originally from Arizona, purchased it in Colorado, and just brought to Wisconsin. I can't afford a winter beater right now, and don't want to subject it to salt. The car is rust free and the body is in really good shape. The paint is faded from the sun.
350 TPI 12k on motor, mild cam, headers, .30 over. Motor is very strong and still gets 23 MPG.
700R4 rebuilt at same time, shift kit
2.77 9 bolt, gas mileage!
Edelbrock cat back sounds great.
The interior is very nice, the air works, there is all new door and t top weatherstrip that goes with the car, and a perfect console lid. The stereo is ok, pioneer head CD, kenwood 5.25 components, and two rockford 10's with a little alpine amp. You would think it sounds great, but not really...
Things the car needs, a fuel pump. I drive it everyday, it just is hard to start. Had a mechanic check it out and he said that is what it needs. I already did one and don't have the time or space to do it. It also needs paint but you could almost spray it as is. The power steering is leaking, tires are crap.
I have a ton of receipts on this car. The major work is done. I purchased the car for $3700 a year ago, put in injectors from 5.0 motorsports, AFPR, and blue tokico shocks, along with the stereo. This my third IROC I am very impressed with how powerful it is. I will take $3700 firm.
