Orange & Black '87 IROC-Z - Sale or Trade - Georgia
Here's all the info! I wouldn't mind trading for a 4th gen 98-02 or another 3rd gen with t-tops or a convertible. Will also consider early 70's Chargers or Challenger.
But most of all I need this gorgeous car to sell!!
*87 IROC-Z completely overhauled....
*SunKissed Orange (Monarch Orange PPG and Pearl) & Black 2-tone with Black flames & Silver Metallic pinstripe paint/graphics by the great Dewayne Stiles, car was completely stripped and repainted from the bare metal for the end result of a mirror finish. You can see in the pics that the design was continued even in the doors!
*All new Z28 rocker panel badges and Camaro badge for hood
*Wet Okole Seat Covers -Orange & Black ("Bad Girl" in headrest- seat covers can be easily removed and very easily replaced. Seats are in great shape underneath)
*Excellent condition interior- almost all replaced - dash pad, brand new carpet, door panels, headliner, center console, door sills, all the black trim, sail panels, kick panels, rear trim,
*Custom black powder coated Shifter plate with 'true fire' flames- has a working line lock button, and 4 other addition buttons as well as a purge button.
*B&M MegaShifter with flameball **** - car is an automatic but a shift kit has been upgraded to allow for manual shifting
*Custom black powder coated Gauge Panel with 'true fire' flames
*All digital gauges (Oil, Volt, Tach, Speedo, Water are all Nordskog, Water temp gauge is CSR and is customizable) in custom gauge panel
*New front lower valance
*New front windshield
*Cervini 2 1/2 inch Cowl hood
*355 motor rebuilt by Dale at Howard Performance - NOT original motor- bought/rebuilt block, all new parts....
*750 Quick Fuel carb dynotuned by Coupe Performance
*Comp Cams XE274H Cam
*DeRaile deep tranny pan
*Summit heavy duty tranny cooler
*Custom mounted Moroso overflow tank
*Working heater
*Black crinkle CHEVROLET valve covers & air filter cover
*Rebuilt 700R4 with upgraded shift kit
*PTC 3200 Converter
*Weighs 3195
*3.73 gears in freshly rebuilt 10 bolt
*Hedman 1 5/8" shortie headers
*ALL NEW - True 2.5" dual exhaust - IMCO mufflers, flowmaster Hpipe
*Full MSD Ignition (6AL & 8551)
*(April 07) New MSD plug wires & new spark plugs
*New Optima yellow battery around 2 yrs old
*New sway bar polyurethane bushings
*JEG's Line Lock
*MSD Shift Light
*Pilot steering wheel
*Umi Lower Control Arms & Panhard Bar
*Centerline 16x8" Sundance Series Retro Rims w/ new tires
*Lakewood Struts
*Engine has less than 8000 miles on it, same for overhauled car.
*No rust - car is in great shape, rides AWESOME!
*This car has been gone over top to bottom, front to back....I left no stone un-turned when picking out parts for it. I do have pictures from each stage during the overhaul!
I have almost all receipts for everything done to this car from the ground up. I have over 22K in the car for starters ....asking only $13,000......
Currently 12.68 best time at 107, only run once since I got the new exhaust/headers and that's with my slicks in the 1/4m in March this year. This car can do better. Has never seen spray although the buttons are there in the shifter plate if someone wanted to add it. Almost everything is brand new on this car and it's only been run a few times. It mostly sits under covered carport. This car runs strong and leaves VERY HARD! I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful car. She was "almost" stock when I got her and I have not driven her much at all during the past 5 yrs. A lot of money, love and time have been put into this car. There is only one flaw on this whole car and that's in the hood, a slight area that could be easily repaired where the power steering belt broke and hit it from underneath. It can't be seen unless you are looking for it. I can send pics of the area.
Pictures don't do this gorgeous car justice!
These are all new pics...

BUMP for a nice looking car...
i used the same plug wire holders that you have, except i had to bend the bracket to lean over top of the valve cover because it was hitting my air tubes, i couldn't find anyone else using them before i bought them, but im glad i did, makes the engine look alot better.
lets go on PINKS! car is in my sig.

Thanks for the compliment! It really does look better in person.
If anyone is in the middle GA area and wants to see, come on by or I'll drive her to Macon one day!
