86 Z28 For TRADE!
I have a 1986 Z28 with 73,000 miles, automatic trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, T-tops for trade.
It has a 327 with new gaskets, Headers, and chrome kit.
The body is great NO RUST. Has a a few dings nothing major. It will need a paint job, but nothing right away.
Interior is great just needs cleaned up and a passenger door panel.
Trade value is around $1750
So tell me what you got. Looking for a 4x4 or newer style Camaro or Firebird.
I'm located in Brooklyn, Ohio 44144

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
I just made a deal with a guy and I'm trading him my motor for his complete 305 TPI motor. So all you have to do is drop it in and you have a sweet camaro. If I put it in the value goes UP!

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
but you first offered an (assumed) running car with a 327 for $1750..Now you're offering a roller with complete un-installed engine for $1750....Not the same...I could drive my 4x4 to trade with you if the car ran...As it is you need a full size truck to carry the engine while you haul the car on a trailer you would probably have to rent....And a friend to drive the truck I would be trading

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
Ok, First I never said the car ran. I know the pictures aren't great but the body and interior on this car are really good. I am doing a trade for a 305, The motor will be in the car it just won't be running. Well maybe it will it depends on how long it takes me and the weather. Anyways all it needs to run is a radiator ( and motor lol).

Ya the 327 is cool put it also is a 2 bolt, I like the The 305, it's not a bad motor. Who knows I might just keep the car when I get the motor in it.

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
yeah tryed that good solid cars aren't really that easy to find in NY. I'm interested as long as the body is clean. But if the car has a motor with but not installed I would take it if you didn't want it i guess but i already have a 400 being built right now. As is would i be able to safely load the car on a dolly and tow it behind a 1/2 ton pickup?

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
Sure. It is a VERY VERY CLEAN Z28. The motor is out of it right now so the front end is alot higher, which is better. Tell ya what if you want it without motor I'll sell it to you for 1250. The body is in great condition, The underbody is really clean too.

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
sounds like we should have a deal but before i make a 1000 mile round trip i need to see pictures of the entire car, specifically the driver and passenger floor pans, the gap between the front tires and fenders along with the outer driver side of the frame where the stearing box mounts since this is an area proned to cracking. Also i would like to see what the interior and engine bay look like. My e-mail is wcs13@aol.com if you want or just post them up here

Re: 86 Z28 For TRADE!
Next time you post a car for sale that doesn't run you need to clearly explain that it doesn't run in your very first post. When you don't tell us the car doesn't run we will assume it does, which sets for some nasty complications.
