I am putting my 1986 Camaro up for sale. I bought the car from the 2nd owner back in 2005. The car has been a lot of fun but its time to get rid of it for something else. I don't drive it that much anymore.
I'll start with the drivetrain. The car has a pre86 2 piece rear man seal 305. The motor was rebuilt and has about 6k miles on it. It has forged 10-5-1 compression pistons, P&P 305 heads with the biggest valves you can stuff in them. The heads have dual valve springs and screw in rocker studs. It has a beefy cam I don't remember the exact specs. 520 lift and 286 duration ish. It lopes pretty good. The car is still on a tpi maf setup running 21lb ford injectors. The car is tuned for the setup. You can drive the car anywhere. Runs great on the highway. Driven the car back and forth from Missouri to Texas without a hiccup.
The transmission is 700r4 and not the greatest it slips and leaks. I have a rebuilt 700r4 that will go with the car when its sold. I just don't have the motivation to install it. The car could use a 3000 stall.
The rearend was rebuilt at the same time the motor was installed. So it also has about 6k miles on it. It has an eaton posi with 3:73 gears with 28 spline moser axles. Pretty much bullet proof.
I replaced the interior of the car with that out of a 88 rs. The interior is grey and black.The seats and interior is in great shape. Everything is power. The car has 20% tint all the way around.
The car is sitting on 90-92 Z28 wheels. Tires still have plenty of life left in them. The only thing I haven't gotten to is the exterior. It could use some body work and paint.
