My boss is selling his 1991 Camaro Z28 1LE and he has asked me to post it here. He bought it new in 1991 as a collectors car and has kept it in his garage with the other hot-rods he has collected ever since new. The car has 171 miles on it, (yes under 200 miles)!!! It still has the original dealer sticker on the window.
It has a few options that make this one a little more rare. He ordered the car from Chevrolet with a 350/auto and deluxe cloth seats, then had the dealer install a factory cd player. He still has the original AM/FM radio that came with the car. Not many of the few 1LE's that were made came in this color with a 350 in it. From what I understand, most 1le's were white or black with 305/manual combo's. I think the correct color name is brick red (correct me if I'm wrong) and it has a black interior. He has the build sheet and all documentation. The car even has the original goodyear gatorback tires!
He is asking $35,000.00

you won't be getting a GNX in that condition for $35k... Last GNX I saw in similiar condition went for over $100k on Barrett Jackson.

The only down side to owning a car with with 171 miles on it, is that I would feel guilty everytime I drove it. I would probably end up hauling it around to shows and not doing much else with it

Both of my thirdgens are low mileage cars, but they have a few miles on them and have a little patina. They get driven a couple of hundred miles each year, and I am not afraid to drive them around a little on a sunny warm day. A nice # 2 weekend driver is a lot more fun than a full-time garage queen.

Started it and let it run for a bit over the weekend. It's awesome to sit in a thirdgen and it doesn't rattle and the doors still go "poof" when you shut them. This car is still brand new!

That's an unbelievable car! Love to see it in person. I think $35K is a bit much in the current market. The Mecum auction is coming to Houston April 4th-6th, he should consider taking it there and see what the real market value is. I think it's in the mid $20s, $27K max.

Original cars with 171 miles are sort of like undeveloped land. They are not making any more of them. Despite the market, there is a buyer out there somewhere who will be happy to pay his price. The owner may have to wait a while, but eventually the right person will purchase the car, and pay him the price that he wants for it.

Don't get me wrong but wouldn't a car that's practically been sitting for 20 somethin years need a little attention? What has he done to the tires to keep them round? What about suspension? Sitting for that long static surly can't be good.
