FS: 1989 350 TPI T-Top Iroc PICS added
1989 IROC Camaro
121k original miles.
maroon in color.
brand new Khumo directional tires all the way around.
Flowmaster exhaust is only performance mod.
T-Tops w/ bags in excellent shape.
Disc brake rear geared at 2.77.
Body is very straight and solid, noting major to complain about. The underbody is excellent too!
Brand new rotors and brake pads on the rear.
Brand new windshield.
All lights work except for fog lights. (they are there though)
Runs excellent. Even barks shifting into second while not even giving it all that much throttle.
cd player works but no sound from speakers.
speedo cable makes clicking sound but works.
Tach reads about 3x higher than it should (transistor?)
Needs new oil pressure sensor. (It's definitely getting good oil pressure)
Headgaskets were bad when I bought the car. So I got the motor rebuilt from headgaskets up. (about $1,500)
It does blow a puff of smoke on startup after it sits for a while due to the valve seals which were also brand new. The heads were all checked out and put together buy the machine shop and they will not fix the faulty valve seals. Yes, I could win in court but will still be out money and time so I will just add whatever oil it needs, which honestly haven't had to add any in the 1,500+ miles I have put on it since getting rebuilt.
Both fans are wired to a switch like most thirdgens lol.
The car is my daily driver and I enjoyed it greatly until I had to stuff a car seat in it.
Also I keep spending money on it, trying to fix it up back to mint instead of fixing my actual project car lol. Which if anyone wants to see that, just google "Am1nal" and click on protouring.com link.
I also had the fun of putting a new $100 wiper switch in it, which I hope to never ever have to do again. Wipers work now though!
I cleaned up the interior and it actually cleaned up pretty good.
THINGS I WOULD DO TO MAKE IT IDEAL TO ME!!!
-Needs new paint. Clear coat is trash on this car.
-Align body gaps better.
-Buy a few interior parts.
-Put all new seals and window trim. (not that it's all bad, but some pieces are. might aswell replace all at once.)
-Drive the fire out of it!
I really love third gen Camaros and I do intend on getting another IROC someday but I need a more ideal car for the moment. If I had more garage space and money I would just keep it and fix it up the rest of the way when I got the time.
The car is all original and all there except for a few interior pieces.
I can't think of anything else wrong but if I do I will edit the post. I will also try to have pictures up tomorrow. I took a butt load on my phone but cant figure out how to download them without a cable.
Asking $3,500 you can call or text anytime at 859-699-2726 with any questions. Like I said, paint, gaps, pieces of interior and drive! All the major mechanical work that you will have to do to that purdy IROC you get a deal on is already done to this one.
STAY TUNED FOR PICS!!!

Re: FS: 1989 350 TPI T-Top Iroc
The '69 is not for sale, I am just showing why I am trying to sell the IROC. I need to stay focused and finish a project for once before I have 20 different projects. It will hurt me to see the IROC leave
