1982 Camaro Z-28 Have had this car for 14 years. Time for a change.
Motor:
Dart little m block 408ci.
light weight , gun drilled crank
H-beam 6" rods
SRP pistons 13.9 to 1
Comp Cams solid roller
offset lifters
Dart Pro1 230 heads
T&D shaft rockers
Electromotive ign.
NX plate system
Motor was dynoed 639 hp at 6300 and 852hp at 6600 on the 150 shot
Trans:
TH400
JW 8" nitrous converter 5300 stall
red clutches
hd sprag
JW rmvb with trans brake
JW ultra bell
B&M shield and shifter
Rear end:
Moser 12 bolt posi
rear girdle
Spohn torq arm
Spohn lower control arms
Spohn frame connectors
QA1 shocks
I run the car at Firebird raceway in Boise ID. In the heat 8000DA 11.2 @121 on motor et streets and mufflers on the 150 shot it runs 10.2 at 135, best run was a 10.00 at 139.38. had a spinning 1.65 60 foot that run. normal is 1.48-50 60 foots.It still has power steering and power brakes. Race weight was 3665lb.
I have 3 different hoods all painted to match
2 sets wheels. Centerlines for the strip and 17" Torque thrust 2s for the street. Car is straight and rust free.

the street tires are 17x8 torque thrust 2 all around.
the Centerlines are 15x3.5 front and 15x8 rear with 275 radials
