Car: 92 Camaro RS
Engine: 305 v8
92 Black Camaro RS $3500 Orlando
The sad day to sell my baby has arrived. =(
In Orlando, Florida.
1992 Camaro RS $3500
V8 Engine
Miles are unknown -- oodometer stopped at 86xxx. I would estimate 150,xxx.
The bad:
-speedometer doesn't work
- passenger window regulator needs to be remounted, regulator is new but not mounted correctly so window is nonfunctional.
- Missing drivers side mirror (I have a mirror, needs to be installed.)
- Needs an alignment
- Sometimes it clicks a few times before cranking. This is due to starter not being shimmed quite right. Always always cranks though!
- Couple minor rust spots
- Bright lights don't work. (something in steering column, never cared enough to fix)
- minor rust above the doors
The Good:
- Brand new battery
- Always run with Amsoil synthetic
- Corvette C4 reproduction rims with nittos all the way around.
- Koni Yellow shocks and struts
- Aftermarket radio
-Brand new antenna.
-New thermostat
- Trunk hatch still works perfect (those are a common thing to break on these cars)
-brand new radiator
-power locks work, trunk release hatch works, dome light, engine bay light all work.
-brand new cigarette lighter
-A/C runs cold
-New serpentine belt
-New spark plugs and wires
Bottom line, I want something prettier that is less maintenance. The car needs a paint job, and lets face it, it's over 20 years old. I am not a mechanic and it's not economical for me to pay a shop to do everything I would like to do for the car. I have had the car since I was 16 years old and it makes me very sad to sell it. It has been a great car to me, and runs like a champ! The F-body style is classic and this car has years and years of life left for someone who knows and loves Camaros. You can run this Chevy into the ground, and she would be beautiful with a new paintjob and some body work.
I have a TON of spare parts that I am selling as well, when I bought the car I had grand plans to fix her up. Life had other plans!
