Found this nice 1984 Z28 on *Autotrader* yesterday. I have talked with the owner and am thinking over going over to Fla and having a look at it. If not maybe some of you guys may be interested. 24k mi, Lg4, 5spd, posi, a/c, 1 owner all original car.

Im not a fan of the Lg4 either but its a super- easy swap to a 350. Mainly the 24k mi gets my attention especially it being adult driven, garage kept,etc.. The engine is cheap to swap compared to a paint job, suspension work, upgrades, etc that you normally have to do on a worn out 3rd gen.

I hear you on the LG4. Its a dog! But then again most cars from this time are dogs.I love them because they look great, handle well and this is the car that got me into cars.

I think so too! I always thought an LS3 with a narrowed rear and some 325s on the back would be killer! No one is going to cry over losing their LG4 or LO3 for that matter!
