Love the car, but as per forum rules, you've gotta post a price.

Am I the only one that hates T tops ? I've always had ttop cars & hated them (I've never liked taking showers going thru car wash) so when I started looking for a hardtop/manual car years ago I told myself I will never own a ttop car again. I wish it were either silver or yellow but what can you do ?

Re: 1985 IROC L69
Nice. It's a highly desirable IROC to some people. It has going for it:
1985
red
hardtop
IROC
4 whl discs
ltd slip
3.73
L69
manual
black interior
custom interior
AC
This car as built in red, and even better in silver, and the 1985 LB9 equivalents are the top IROCs ever in my book. Lear Siegler interior is my only other potential option, but the '85 and '86 custom interiors were the best looking of all for '82 through '92 Camaros.

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: GU6=3.42

What a great looking car!!! I had my heart set on a manual, then the wife said it was a deal breaker because she wanted to be able to drive....One of the deciding factors on my car was all the unique options.

Those CAMARO seats are so 80's tacky but so cool at the same time

Wow, very nice. I kinda dig the L/S seats & the U35 clock just tops it. My dad bought a then-new 82 berlinetta (V6) with U35 but still cool nonetheless.

Re: 1985 IROC L69
We can disagree, I have a vintage set of Recaros in my 73 TA and find them a little awkward to get in & out of. From an appearance standpoint I would give the nod to the Lear Siegler seats. Don't mis-read this, the Recaros get high cool factor points, but I love the look of the LS seats.

Thanks for the compliments!!! I really like the Recaro as well. I can't to see what any of the judges think in shows this summer. This is my first classic car! Let alone a bad Hot-Rod ( according to my granddaughter) so I am pretty excited for local shows.

For me an 85 With the LS interior, T Top, U35 Clock (i also love this little clock), any color but red or black and L69 would be the perfect IROCZ.

A couple of posts about not liking red cars...but here is a known fact. Learned it from my father who has been an auto broker his entire career. Red, Black, White cars sell faster and tend to hold their value better in both the new and used car markets. Red, Black, White.....and in that order.
Nothing is prettier than a waxed up red thirdgen! Beautiful Iroc!

Re: 1985 IROC L69
Yeah way too common. I hate fire engine red. Its a deal breaker for me. And Black is a nightmare to keep up. I don't care what people say about better resale value. Not with me. I refuse to buy a fire engine red car! Now maroon is a different story. I like maroon.
