Engine: 383
Axle/Gears: 373 strange axles
1989 IROC Z Convertible
I have not been here very long but I use the same ID on eBay as well as many other forums. so a quick google on my ID will show that I have a good rep.
Also, I have not owned this car very long.
The ONLY reason I am trying to sell it is that it will cost way too much to pass an emissions test here. There is a visual as well as roller test.
PLEASE DO NOT OFFER ANY IDEAS to go around the requirements. THANKS!
The car:
Its an 89 IROC Z with about 90K on the chassis.
The autometer speedo shows 1600 miles.
383 Stroker with Holley DP
9.5:1 CR, Aluminum Heads
FULL March Performance Serpentine setup
Aluminum Rad with Dual Flex A Lite Fan setup.
FULL Stainless Works Exhaust Headers, mids, muffler.
It has been repainted. The seat covers have been redone and the rest of the interior gone over.
Has a Retrosound Head Unit with iPod wire in center console.
Audiobahn Amp, Bazooka Sub in trunk
6 speakers in cab
New top.
New replica Wheels
New Tires.
Full Autometer gauge setup.
3.73:1 Gears
2800 Stall
Rear suspension has all poly bushings
there is not much that hasnt been updated or upgraded
I found 2 invoices. One for motor $7800. Then there is a long rambling sort of work order and it has a total of 32,500.
These are not mine. I found in trunk.
Hypertech Chip package and original chip found in trunk too.
I have a bunch of pictures to post.
If something you want to see specifically let me know.
I have a Service manual, Owners manual, and a parts manual.
Also, a custom fit fold up sun shade for the windshield.
The fine line 3 color pinstriping and the Speed Racer are all hand painted by DJ from NJ. World famous striper.
PLEASE DONT LET THE STRIPING OR THE SPEED GRAPHIC MAKE UP YOUR MIND. MY DETAILER assures me it can all be removed very easily and will leave no marks. So dont let any of that stop you, I will PAY to have it removed at my cost if needed to complete the sale.
My PRICE: Asking $12,000. CASH NO TRADES
THE BAD:
The A/C has no Freon. I have been told it all worked at completion.
The heat blower fan stopped working. it worked for a day or two when I got the car. Also, i put 12v to motor it spins. I hope to have it fixed before I sell it.
Thats all I have found so far. A few bulbs were out I replaced the license plate and the interior courtesy with Philips 194 LED.
