You may have, I just dont see the normal "reserve not met" and there are several bidders now. They WILL nickel and dime it down to the last second. I would yank it!

You changed out the speedo too? The double pointer is not there. Really cool car. Same colors as my 82 LG4 Z28 I had after high school back in 88. Hope you get what you want for it.

Thanks Mike! Like I said, I thought I had sold several times already

The speedo was actually dealer installed when the car was sold new, as per my paperwork.

Re: 1983 Z/28

I can't remember seeing a 5-speed crossfire before ,... NICE car !

Curious ?? The pictures seem to show 2 different interiors; at least one pic shows a 85+ 140 speedo ( 60 K mileage ) and fog light switch while another pic shows the factory installed 82-84 style "Z28" dealer speedo. Did you include a pic of your 89 dash by mistake !?!

OMG! You are right John! I'm not sure which car that 86+ speedo goes to. It must have gotten mixed in there somehow. I looked at it quickly and thought, Huh, there are a lot of scratches on that thing, even after I polished the lens to look like new. I'll fix that pic when I get off of work.

I put the T5 in, actually 1MeanZ did. But we did it to look completely factory correct.

The car was bought new with dealer installed 140 mph speedo, fog lights, and clear headlight covers. The headlight covers were long gone by the time I got it and only the switch remains from the foglights.

My 82z was originally a crossfire injection car but I've never seen it with the original motor, our interior colors look identical though.

Looks like it's going to a collector in Germany. I've got a paypal deposit, just waiting for the balance in a cashier's check.

Good job Charlie. Remember the Blue 82 Z28 4-speed car with 35,000 miles that I helped my friend sell. We talked about it couple years back. It went to Norway. That's neat stuff there. Ready to buy a low mile 5 speed Iroc Z Ragtop???? Lets talk. JIM

This is a really cool car, Real nice example of how to build a 'custom' car while using "stock" parts. Great work & Congrats !
