got it running about 2 weeks ago.;.. so far so good... been taking it easy on it (no blower yet) but it ran 12.9 @ 111mph with 8,5:1 compression, 18" rims and untuned DFI.... so id like to get into 12.5 without the blower, and 11.00 with 10lbs of boost... seems possible..

agreed. i've been wanting to see that beaut for a while now, irocnparts.

My car's still not running. Some wiring went wonky while ripping out my interior.. something to do with my alarm.. but I have no ignition power right now. I hope to get it sorted soon so I can throw her back together.

Worst case scenario.. she'll have one seat, the guage assembly taped where the dash is spozta be, and nothing much else other than a steering wheel inside... but i'm determined to get her running... and insured

Hate to be a party pooper. I won't make it with my car but I'll try to be there. F***in Honda's are out to get me. I just have some bruised ribs so I'm lucky. Please learn from my experience if you haven't been here before and drive insanely but safely. At the moment, I will not part out. So if you know anyone who can supply good sections of what I need, please let me know. My frame is straight and the engine runs great (drove it home).

IROCN' ---- Your car is AWESOME!

Oh man, that would be hella cool. When can I find you! I guess I'll be at the show regardless. How can I make this happen? I'll contact my insurance place to see if they mind me working on it. I for sure need to pull the door off to assess the damage to the shell. If I can't push the rear quarter panel back to normal, I'll need that too. Thank you soo much.

When I talked to my insurance company after someone broke my steering column trying to steal it...

they wanted to inspect it to find out the damage, but they didn't care if I did the work or not.

my parts are all stored about 30 seconds from the restraunt we will be meeting at, so you can take a look if you want, nothing like what IrocNparts has but I hope I can help

it is sad to see a nice car like yours get messed up so bad, I whould guess you need a new rear quarter from that pic

Thank you all very much for your help and concern with my accident. I will try to make it to the show (with a truck) and I'll be sure to bring plenty of pictures. Hopefully before then I can get a good status report on the body of my car. Maybe if I can get the door banged out good enough I'll just bring it in all of its splendor Won't be pretty but it will be something to look at. Like I said before, it still runs great.

Hey guys.

I just called cruisers (again) and let them know to expect about 20 cars, instead of 10.

The confirmed date / time is September 7th (Sunday) at 5:30pm.

I assume we'll all be eating, and they have appetizers, burgers and steaks and chicken, and things of that sort.

I'm going to try to get some sort of itinerary worked up with FatJ, if everyone's cool with that, just so we have a game plan to follow (if we want to) for the night.

gibbs_000 suggested a drive up to white rock (about a 20-25 minute drive) so we can cruise the strip. Personally I love the idea of 10-20 thirdgens driving up and down the beach, and theres good parking places on the ends of the beach to hang out.
What do you all think of that? -- we could spend 2 hrs or so at cruisers and then head down there.

Let me know if you have any objections or ideas.

I'll be in my new place down by the beach by then, if were down there we could always walk up to my place n hang out there for a bit... assuming my room mates dont mind(one of them will be coming so im sure he doesnt), just a suggestion.

24 - Don't tell me I'm the oldest......

Got my door open! Seat bolts are intact and unscathed. Just rolled the rocker panel up! If I can get the door semi-straight I'll be there!
