Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Anyone have any sugestions on car storage? i'm in the west end but will not need to access it often so i mean anywhere in edmonton isnt really too far.
I'm going to talk to the people at u-haul i think i can get storage for my car for around 50 bucks a month. Doesnt need to be heated just dry, all sugestions are welcome, am definitly on a strict budget.

Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Wow, if you can get covered storage for $50/month I'd be shocked. I'm pretty sure if you want a bay you're looking at $200 with no heat. If you don't have a bay you have to be afraid of someone scratching or hitting it.
Hope you do find it though, let us know.

When are you bringing your camaro out here?
It will be cruising season soon enough. It was 11degrees out today, a few cold days couldn't hurt her too much.

Pulled the valve cover on the side of the road where my trucks parked and 3 rockers were mega loose, tightened them running a half turn past where they stopped ticking and all seems well now.

Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Hey peoples, due to my current situation I am looking to sell my camaro. It doesn't run currently (I'm working on that) and the body isn't in the best shape, but I'm selling cheap. It's an '89 RS, 305 throttle body.
I live in edmonton, so pm me if you're interested and want my phone number.

Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Just thought I'd say hi to guys. I grew up in Redwater and lived in Edmonton for 7 yrs at 144thave&50thstreet. I Went to O'leary high school (Grad89') Most of my family lives in Edmonton still and I come down there quite often. Maybe next time I come down, I can hook up with some of you guys and go cruise Whyte ave & Harwelak or drink some beers! Haven't had my Z down there for a few years but thinking of driving it down for the Grand Prix or whatever they call it this year.

Hey man I am around, waiting for the snow to melt..... nuthin doin
Actually just replaced the heater core in my 87 GTA, what a pain!!!!!,
broke the control lever onthe air conditioning while doing it, then had to buy a whole new air box system from David T for just a small $2 part. Ahhhhhh......... what a rip!
So.... I have an air duct system if any one wants.

Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Ya? That's real close to my school. Could they order in an exhaust for you? I'm looking at hooker 2460-1 with ypipe magnaflow cat and flowmaster system kit. Do they have lots of performance parts available?
#184
Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Kartunes is just a shop, I bet if they order parts for you you could order them yourself cheaper. They don't stock any parts, go to mopac for parts or any performance parts store. But they can put it all together for you and they're pretty good.

Hey, I'm from Edmonton looking to get into the 3rd gen scene. Anybody selling anything decent or know where to get a good deal? What's the deal with David T's? I don't mind either Z28 or GTA. Would like some T-Tops though.

Hey mopac guy, could you get me a quote on that exhaust please?
And could you get me a quote on:
MSD Ignition Wires
MSD Rotor and Cap
Accel Module 35362
Bosch Platinum Plugs
Hooker 2460-1
Hooker 16767
Magnaflow 16829
Any brand of Air Foil.
This would be great.
If you could email me at spyoptic_9@hotmail.com that would be truly helpful.
Thanks!

Re: Edmonton and surrounding area members in here
Just a heads up for any locals looking to get some tuning / engine work done on your cars/trucks. Exercise EXTREME caution or completely avoid dealing with
Martin Gausvik @ AFI Performance in Edmonton.
Martin promised me 800 WHP in my Escalade. I gave him a cheque for $20,000 and my Suburban. He was to order a 3.3L Whipple supercharger, an FLT Stage 5 4L80E, all parts required to stroke the trucks 6.2L to 418 cubic inches. Wheels, Tires, Suspension. etc. All this work was to be completed by September 2008.
What do I have to show for our plans? A beat up suburban, which he returned after driving it for 6 months and a $20,000 lighter bank account. He ordered NONE of the parts and when I asked for my money back he says, "I might take me a little while to come up with that kind of money".

"A copy of this cheque and the affidavit to be sworn by the person who served the statement of claim on the company. We should be able to note him in default tomorrow or maybe today." My Lawyer's comment this morning.
