Re: Speaker help

Welcome!
First, remove the four long screws closest to windshield by the defroster vents. Then go across under the front of dash and remove the handful there. Then pick up front of dash slightly and remove.

Speakers are everywhere. Go to Crutchfield.com and plug in your vehicles info and it will list what fits. They are 4x6 max. for the front and 6x9 for the rear

Re: Speaker help

should see if the 450 is peak watts or rms. if you post a model number we can give better recommendations. unless you already have something in mind. the 4x6's for the front are a concern for depth the duct under it causes fitment issues and the power of a 4x6 is very much normally. what do you have now and why do you want to upgrade?

Re: Speaker help

The fronts require special shallow speakers which in my experience don't sound all that great and mine didn't last very long.

Re: Speaker help

there are ones that work, there was a thread about it actually. i have normal polk db 461's and they fit just barley but no mods necessary. they wont handle an amp though. have to be hooked to the hu directly. it may be better to just hook the amp to some good 6x9's. i have polk db691's they sound pretty good as long as its amped.
