first rebuild
So I rebuilt my quadrajet today all went smooth except I'm confused about my power piston when looking at rebuilding videos online I see all the videos with quadrsjets only have the one power piston with the two metering rods hanging off of it. In the videos they say to insert the spring into the piston body like the piston should be hollow, well the piston I have is solid no hole on the bottom for the spring to go into. Second thing is looking from the front of the carb you have your needle valve for the float then a circular hole then a second circular hole where the power piston with the 2 metering rods go into my problem is in the first hole there was a piston with a spring and one metering rod in there. Looking multiple places online I did not see a setup like this. Is that second power piston and metering rod even supposed to be there? Also the plastic retaining clips on top of the pistons were cracked and corroded and my rebuild kit included rubber retaining clips. I don't see how this is supposed to hold the piston down in place. Sorry no pictures at this time as I am at work

Re: first rebuild
The yellow arrow is where the power valve with the two metering rods go and red arrow is where a second power valve is the hole is hollow like the top hole doesn't have anything in it like this pic as I found this on internet so my question is why do I have 2 power valves?
