Adding split rear seats?

Adding split rear seats?
I picked up a 1988 IROC Convertible last week. The interior is trashed so I was going to swap in some gray leather seats from a 91/92 Z28. The issue is that the rear seats are split while the IROC has a single piece one. I looked and it appears that it might not be a simple task to add the second striker on the drivers side compared to what it takes in the coupes. I know I need at add the center bar, I already have one pulled. Has anyone done this?

Re: Adding split rear seats?
I considered doing it in my 87, but it was more than I wanted to do at the time. I know in 1989 all cars came with the double latch system, even the single seat back. I think that had to do with the back seat shoulder harness introduction...
