1990 Iroc z convertible suggestions needed

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252398471006

This sold for $6500, my question is was it worth the price?

It's worth exactly what they paid.

I must admit it was I who won the bid on that car. Thanks for the input. Just trying to figure the cheapest way to get it from Forest Hill, CA to here in Tyler, TX.

Congrats on your purchase. Post some pics of the car.
If you do a search on this site you will find a bunch of guys that have had transported cars they have bought. I would reach out to one or so of them to see who they used and if they were happy with the cost and the service...sometimes cheaper ain't better.
Yes, you paid too much for the car...just like me and everyone else on this site that paid more than $2500 for a third gen!

That's what I was afraid of. Lol and it will need tires and exhaust since the guy had to take it off to replace fuel pump. Too far for me to fly and drive back. Yea, I'm trying to make sure I can afford all this so the cheapest transportation would be very helpful.

As they say..., the price goes up when the top goes down!
On an average yes verts are worth more.

I was nervous as hell getting my recently purchased '92 T/A convertible shipped from Florida to California. I used Ship-A-CarDirect. There were several places that were cheaper than them. When I read many of the other company's reviews, they were downright scary. So I paid about 20% more to use them because they had much higher ratings. Overall, it was a pretty easy experience. They picked up the car on a Friday and delievered it to me the next Tuesday.

Oh, and I paid way more than $2,500 but I don't care. I got the car that I was looking for.

Re: 1990 Iroc z convertible suggestions needed

I think you got a great buy at $6500. Its a west coast car. Miles was not bad. It the car wasn't wrecked and is all pretty much stock you will be fine. Do the things that it needs and have fun driving it. I have three 1990 Iroc Z Ragtops plus have had over 20 87 to 92 Camaro ragtops in the last 10 years. So I do know the cars. If you need any advise get a hold of me. I would be glad to help someone with there first Convertible. JIM

Great! Please educate me on 1989 IROC Vert front fenders, bumper cover and front spoiler. I need them.

Are vert and coupe front fenders the same, or interchangeable, if so how much modification is required.

Same for the bumper cover/spoiler. How is the fit on reproduction fenders?

Thanks.

Contact roy@doortodoortransport.com he can move it for you. If you tell him Chris in Connecticut put you in touch that will work like a coupon code for his best rate. Open or enclosed, but don't be surprised if it shows up dirty if you ship it open.

I've moved dozens of cars with them, two last month, others here have used them as well.
