Convertible drag cars
I am currently building a convertible drag car, I am hearing that they are heavier then usual, have any of you guys weighed yall cars? I also have a few other questions i will list below

Verts are heavier and top up or down, have more aerodynamic drag. Sorry, no specs to provide.

I thought the same thing, but a previous owner of my '92 T/A convertible had installed a line lock on the prop valve in addition to more wiring that I am still removing from the car.

The weight difference isn't much. That hatch glass is heavy and the chassis stiffening is pitiful.
And your center of gravity is ever so slightly lower.

Agreed. The connectors on these cars are riveted on and maybe 1/8" thick. The convertible top, tonneau cover and trunk lid probably make up for the weight difference of the hatch and top or T tops. Convertibles are rarely seen as drag cars because they are much more rare in the thirdgen population (driving up their cost) in addition to having the most chassis flex.
