Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: T56 6-Speed
2.8L Runs hot & blew a rad hose :(
Well, this isn't an fbod, but same motor in my friend's 89 cavalier.
Temp starts out fine then makes its way to 220* fairly quickly & stays there & will go above it if sitting @ a light etc. then, the fans will come on.
Also, it blew a rad hose today. It wasn't 1 of the larger hoses, but a smaller one. I put it back on & it's been ok, so far. What could have caused this?
He is gonna replace the t-stat. If that doesn't fix it, what else should he try?
